I’ve been shooting this doc all summer, trying to both tell the history of funk and looka t its present and future. I have talked to some of my idols (Maceo Parker, Boosty Collins, Sly Stone), long time friends (Nile Rodgers, Mtume, Mike D) and discover some new talents (Dam Funk, Novena Carmel, Lettuce.)
